AptVet Laboratory of Viral Infections (LVD) comprises a comprehensive service and research program for viral diseases of significance to public health. Our work includes surveillance, outbreak investigation, the detection of rare diseases and new pathogens, reference testing, pandemic preparedness and response, the development and study of new testing methods, and the study of viral infections and the diseases they cause.
